The Professional Actor’s Toolkit
Whether you're brand new to acting, looking to sharpen your on-camera skills, or considering pursuing professional work, this welcoming Film & TV class provides practical training with experienced working actors. Students will explore the foundations of screen acting, including script analysis, emotional truth, camera technique, continuity, eye lines, self-taping, audition preparation, and professional set etiquette. Weekly classes focus on authentic film and television scenes while developing confidence both in front of the camera and in the audition room.
The course concludes with a Simulated Casting Session, designed to mirror a professional audition experience while providing individualized feedback in a supportive environment. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with a film and television talent agent for an industry Q&A and discussion about next steps for those interested in pursuing representation.
