Act Alive Academy offers performing arts programs for kids, teens, and adults on the traditional and unceded territory of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) in what is now known as Squamish BC.
Our mission is to offer classes, camps, school programs, and birthday parties which are a safe space for kids and teens to be themselves while singing, dancing and acting. Students will exercise their bodies and minds, making connections and having fun.
Our Classes
Our classes give students the chance to build confidence, explore their creative sides and develop new skills. Students will learn teamwork and co-operation, time management and organizational skills, self discipline, self love, body awareness, the ability to think on their feet, communication skills, resilience and to open their minds to new ideas and possibilities.
We offer various exciting performance opportunities throughout the year, highlighted by our year-end main stage production at Squamish’s Eagle Eye Theatre.

Community Engagement
We believe in giving back to our community and offer chances for our students to lift and be lifted through outreach, volunteerism and scholarships.
Our Academy is a safe-space where children come to be inspired creatively and to grow both as people and performers.

Upcoming Events
Pro-D Day Camps are back!
Our Pro-D Day Camps give kids a full day of singing, dancing, and acting, plus games, crafts, and set/prop-making leading up to a mini-performance for family and friends. Sign up once and cover all 6 Pro-D Days for the school year (plus a bonus Winter Holiday camp) so you never have to scramble for childcare again (and have day to prepare or take time for you during the holiday season!) or register for individual dates to pick and choose camps throughout the year.
